See The (Not quite so real) Characters

The Real Characters

Since my blog has long since turned from a showcase of my writing to a “real” blog I thought it would be prudent to have a list of all the people that show up in my life. And their nicknames, of course.

Invisible Readers: That’s you, my dear. I like to call my readers invisible because I essentially have…none.

The Few

All of these people listed below are part of my closest circle of friends. I grew up with all of them, and they mean a lot to me. They’ve helped me through some tough times, and I can only hope I have returned the favor. We had some really great times.

Sayaka: She’s bold and blunt and unafraid of most situations. She has the most…intriguing theories. We argue playfully a lot. Therefore, I lose a lot.  We play tennis together. She’s my accountability partner with Nuyaeh, and I can trust her to tell me exactly what she thinks, even if it hurts. Actually, especially if it hurts.

Azn Presuasian (Anime)-  She’s Sayaka’s sister. She dances, and I lose in arguments to her a lot too. She played tennis once upon a time in a different life. She’s my adviser for everything that relates to the world of fashion or social life, since I’m quite inept in those areas. At least, according to her. We went through some drama, but she never turned her back on me, and for that I will never be able to repay her.

Jean Hearts-Another old nickname. She’s sisters with Bubba. She gives out amazing advice, and she’s very trust worthy. She has good insights, and out of all of us, she’s probably the most mature. Her level-headedness is really admirable, and it pulls me through lots of tough situations. We used to call her mom, but I guess that’s my role now.

Bubba- She’s always very bright and can cheer up anyone. She’s extremely nice and extraordinarily thoughtful. She’s the one I want to go to when I need cheering up. She’s never said a mean word to me, and that’s extraordinarily comforting.

Skates-Named after one of her favorite things. She’s very generous and not afraid to stand up for what she thinks. She’s also really quite funny from time to time. She’s also extremely supportive. I go to her whenever I’m feeling a little lost. She’s always there to listen to me. Her advice is always well thought out, and she always wants the best for me. It means a lot. She’s one of the strongest girls I know.

Color- Don’t ask me where I got this nickname from. I just pulled it out of my head on a whim. Color is technically the newest to the few, but I love her just as much as the others. She’s a lot like bubba. Very bright and cheerful. She never fails to make me smile.

The Special

The below are other friends who I am currently close to. You know how people drift apart after time passes…you don’t see each other again etc etc. Well, I hope I don’t lose these guys! Of these people, Taylor, Nuyaeh, Lai, and J1 are the most important to me. They really should belong somewhere between the Few and the Special. But everyone else means a lot to me too, especially since I more accustomed to having one friend at a time, not an entire group.

J1: My praise team leader and teacher. I enjoy telling him he’s abusive, but in actuality he’s extremely helpful and willing to do a lot for people. He’s…legitimately charismatic in a very Korean-accented sort of way. I don’t think there’s a person on earth who could know J1 and refuse to do a favor for him. I haven’t known him for long, but like I said, charismatic; I find that I really trust and admire him.

LaiYeuknee: This friendship spawned out of some intense drama, but its a good friendship none the less. We’ve grown pretty close, and I’m glad for it. He’s a wonderful mediator, even when he has his own life to deal with. His nickname is his own username, so I’m not sure where it originated. Regardless he makes me laugh and I really enjoy my conversations with him. He’s the mob lord of the asian mafia.

Nuyaeh: Oh, you know, that one Korean guy. He’s part of our DnD group and has a harem. Not that he wanted one, but he didn’t seem to have much of a choice. He may seems rather crazy (like most of us), but he really is a great guy. He’s very clear-sighted, tolerant, and honest. I’m very grateful that he’s in my life, and I’ve learned a lot from him. He’s one of Lai’s dons.

Taylor: A very, very sweet kid. I consider him my best friend because everything he does is of patience, gentleness, and kindness. He’s a really good person and even though he’s younger than me, I admire him. I also miss him to bits.

Shana: My fellow writer. She does comic fantasy, fanfics (of Naruto, mostly). I would go so far to say as beyond my inner circle, she’s one of my best girl friends, even though sometimes our interactions seem to be kind of awkwardly funny. We also went through some drama together, but she’s still willing to have me as a friend, and that’s something I will treasure for the rest of my life.

The Commie: One of my writing friends. We have some insanely great discussions together. She and Shana get along super well, especially when Shana gets out her droid >:) She’s really helpful with writing, always scrounging up competitions. We tend to edit each other’s work as bluntly as we can. It’s a strange relationship, but one that I really appreciate. She’s actually extremely awesome, and really, really nice to all of us fellow writers.

The Vampire: Another fellow writer, who has an “affiliation” for vampires. She’s a bit crazy. (Aren’t we all?) Part of my once alive DnD group. She’s super knowledgeable about a lot of old mythic topics as well as medieval history. My roleplaying dice are from her, so that makes her awesome! But she calls me her sanity, which makes her my…?

The Irish guy: For lack of a better nickname. He DMed for our adhd DnD group, and I commend his patience. Sort of. He’s going out with the vampire. He’s a little bit wild, a little bit dangerous, and a little bit violent, but he really does have a good heart.

Karx: He’s a DnD buddy of mine, and recently took up spurring me on in my novel writing. He also decided to write his own novel. I also discovered that he roleplays. He also can speak with a ridiculously hilarious accent. I enjoy our random talks over facebook and he’s pretty straight forward and funny.

Pomengranate: Again, lack of originality on my part. She’s part of Nuyaeh’s harem and is extremely fond of assaulting him – whether or not she like hugs from him more than pomegranates, jelly beans, and beef jerky remains unknown. She’s a really kind hearted soul. And although she’s capable of having a good time, she’s also mature and watchful.

Housewife: Aptly named for her love of ironing other people’s shirts, cooking, and folding clothes. I know, a sexist jibe. She’s a lot of fun to joke around and be with. And while, like most of my friends, she is a bit crazy, she’s also supportive and kind.

The Muffinator: Part of Nuyaeh’s harem. She adores purple, and she’s always happy :3 She’s obsessed with things like Cars, Transformers, and Invader Zim. She also draws a good amount. She adds just a bit of quirkiness to my group.

Satan’s Child: An old nickname for her. She’s part of Nuyaeh’s harem too, and she is somewhat demonic, if not fond of hugs. She’s just a bit insane and unpredictable. She tends to pull me out of my shell because her crazy, bold attitude is dangerously magnetic. She’s the clean up crew in our mafia.

The Additional

These are the friends that I have that I’m not particularly close to, but I do enjoy spending time with.

Colombian: Seriously the nicest person I’ve ever met. He isn’t just polite, he offers to help even when it’s detrimental for him to do so.

Asian: He’s actually a pretty darn good writer, when inspiration strikes him. We don’t typically talk much unless we’re in the same class or if it’s to study. He has interesting things to say, though, and puts up with my rambling.

Troll: He’s one of those Asians that drives me insane once in a while because he’s so insistent upon grades, but he’s funny in a weird sort of way. Like, a trollol-steal-Nuyaeh sort of way.

The Non-Creepers

I used to be very nervous about making friends with people online, but as I’ve gotten older, I’ve come to the realization that not everyone online is a creeper waiting to follow me back to my house and murder me. So, these are some really awesome friends I’ve made online, mostly through roleplaying.

Hyperwolfskull: She goes by foxywolfy now, but she was my first roleplaying friend. I joined nearly all of her roleplays.

MageTheShifter: Another roleplaying friend of mine, one of my first. I don’t talk to him much, but me and wolf and him were this awesome trio a while ago.

Sharadsun: Yet another roleplaying friend. I came across him while roleplaying with wolfy, and we did some other roleplaying with each other, mainly on Gaia. He also opened up A Broken Story, which remains to this day my favorite roleplay.

Fist: I can’t recall his full username, but he’s friends with Sharad and stirred up a lot of roleplay trouble. We worked things out and had a great run with a roleplay called A Broken Story. He’s a wonderful roleplayer now :3

Wolfvestears: An older roleplaying friend. I joined quite a few of her roleplays, she joined a decent number of mine. She quit Gaia to get a real life a month or so ago, but she definitely made an impact.

Solo: Solo I met while roleplaying Oblivion. She’s really nice and plays royalty characters really well, but she plays mother-role characters even better! She’s always apologizing, but we love her.

Erethia: We had our first encounter in wolf’s Oblivion. It was an epic run, which turned into a sequel rp, which turned into another one, which died after wolfy quit. But we’ve roleplayed together a lot. Thia is currently one of bestest roleplaying friends out there! We’re going to be noveling buddies one day! ^__^

Kyorina: Thia, Kyo, and I all met in Oblivion. We had one heck of a time. Kyo is hyper-active bubbly and seems to have a lot of free time! :P She’s a lot of fun to roleplay with, and has hilarious characters and events happening all the time. Ask her about Regret, if you ever get the chance. xD

Fuufuublue: I met Blue on Ethereal Lights, and we started roleplaying together a lot. He does plenty of noveling. We don’t talk much these days because I don’t roleplay much, but we had some awesome times together.
